Who I Am
Accutech & Optegrate Consulting was born out of a need I recognized in the accounting industry for professionals that made better use of automation and modern technology. Over the last decade the US has experienced a severe shortage of accountants, and a significant portion of all CPAs will retire in the next 5 years. After working in public accounting and in the private sector, I noticed that those CPAs are not taking advantage of the modern toolsets available to our industry. Thus I began a mission to automate accounting systems and integrate them with operations to reduce time wasted, and provide insights for important decision making.
I’ve worn many of hats throughout my career acting as Chief of Staff managing operations, HR, and previously as the Financial Controller making the most of my accounting degree. I have over 2 years of experience in driving strategic leadership and operational excellence as well as 8 years in accounting & financial management.
I'm extremely proficient in client relations, financial reporting & forecasting, cross-functional collaboration, fostering organizational growth and creative problem solving through data-driven insights as well as process optimization.
My true passion is people; I love helping the staff grow and feel heard, I love establishing mutually beneficial relationships that continue long after a company. What I'm truly an expert at, is managing and understanding people.
More personally, I have a love for the outdoors, animals, and my work. My wife is my rock, and has been a cornerstone of growth in my life; together with our many pets, we’ve built a life I once dreamed of. I’m passionate about working with people to help them grow while learning from their specific experiences that can do the same for me.
